Accessibility statement
Tabwise helps businesses make their websites accessible, so we hold our own website to the same standard. This statement covers tabwise.ie.
Our standard
We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is the standard referenced by EN 301 549, the European standard behind the European Accessibility Act.
Current status
This website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That means most of the site meets the standard, but some parts do not yet. The known issues are listed below, and we are working to fix them.
What you should be able to do
- Navigate the whole site using a keyboard alone
- Use the site with a screen reader, such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver
- Zoom in up to 400% without text overlapping or content being cut off
- Read all text with sufficient colour contrast
- Complete our contact form, with every field clearly labelled

We are not currently aware of any specific issues. If you find one, please tell us.
Scan reports
The PDF reports our free scan sends by email are generated automatically. They are tagged for screen readers, but if you have difficulty reading one, email us and we will send the results in another format.
How we test
We test this website the same way we test our clients’ websites:
- Automated testing with axe-core
- Manual testing using a keyboard only
- Screen reader testing with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
- Zoom and reflow testing at 200% and 400%
- Colour contrast checks
