This policy explains what personal data Tabwise collects, why, and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
Tabwise is a sole trader business based in Cashel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. Tabwise is the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect
When you request a free scan through our contact form, we collect:
- your name and email address
- your website address
- your website platform, staff count and any message you choose to include
When you email us or become a client, we also keep our correspondence with you, and the business and billing details needed to quote, invoice and deliver the work.
When we scan or audit your website, we look at the public pages of the website you gave us. We don’t need, and won’t ask for, the personal data of your customers. If an audit requires access to a test account or staging site, we’ll agree that with you in writing first.
What we don’t collect
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

We don’t add you to a mailing list, send you newsletters, or sell or share your data for marketing.
Who we share it with
We only share your data with service providers that help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:
- Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website and receives contact form submissions
- Our email provider, which stores the emails we exchange with you
- Our accountant, and the Revenue Commissioners where the law requires it, for invoices and tax records
Netlify is based in the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, it’s protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Scan requests that don’t lead to work: deleted within 12 months of our last contact.
- Client records, contracts and invoices: kept for 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as Irish tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct anything that’s wrong
- delete your data, where we don’t need to keep it by law
- restrict or object to how we use it
- give you your data in a portable format

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie. We’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
